In esoteric teaching enlightenment is agoal attained. In my experience, mastery is like the horizon –always ahead of us as we gain new ground. However practicalenlightenment is navigating this world of chaos and distraction armedwith the map of our authentic Self.
Our true opportunity between birth anddeath – our first inhale and our last exhale – is to fulfill all thatwe might be. We are born with our unique blend of talents andtraits, into a world of infinite flux and possibility. How do wereveal what is within us to attain the ultimate goal of Self –actualized?

Enlightenment is simply the process oflightening up. Dropping all that we carry that is not the trueexpression of our authenticity. Practical enlightenment, then, isthe process of revealing that authentic self. Our personal passionsand heart desires lead us there. Life then becomes the expression ofthese values in work and relationship.
